And why two ovens? Do a stovetop with drawers underneath and a microwave hood, and use one oven space for a double oven instead.

I wanted a double oven and separate cooktop, when I re-did my kitchen. But the cost was$5,000, plus, as opposed to buying 2 separate ovens, which came to $1,000.
A double oven is at least $1,500. My contractor, said that since they only make them electric, I would also have to re-wire to accommodate the wattage required, That would have been another $2,000, not to mention the separate cooktop for $1,000. I had the option to purchase microwaves to go go over the stoves, but since I don't like to use microwaves, I went with hoods instead.

I went with 2 separate ovens. I can cook my meat dishes on one side, while cooking on the other side, for dairy. Great for thursday night, when we prefer to eat dairy, but need to cook Meat dishes for Shabbos at the same time.

The 2 doorways surrounded by tall cabinets will get tight and clostrophobic. Are they going to be used often? Like to bathrooms or the rest of the house? If yes, try doing only a 12 inch pantry ( I hate deep pantries they’re never as neat) and leave less bulk near the doorways.

Also a square/ rectangle table would probably work better.
Leaving 2 ft between table and counter is way to little. You won’t be able to pass while someone sits there, and the chairs will be in the way.

If the empty space is just to a backyard....then I might keep the table there....it’s not that bad to walk around....

Instead of a lazy susan, consider S-shaped pull-out shelves. I have two in my kitchen and allow me to store all my pots. Although I don't have this exact one, it is similar:

Looking at the layout again, if possible it’s best to put the bulky cabinets all together.
Also if you do one slanted wall I think you need to do the same on the other side for it to be symmetrical. Imho.

My favorite corner solution are corner drawers.
The other ones break way to quickly.

Thank you so much for all the input. I’m doing 2 ovens because double ovens with stove tops are soooo much more expensive.. and same with a bigger fridge... trying to stay slightly economical.
I hope to go to a cabinet person in the next couple of weeks and really work through the layout.. but I wanted to be prepared - so this back and forth is really helpful.
I played around with the ikea kitchen planner online - wow! It really comes to life - so much easier to visualize.

Don’t do a corner sink. It’s a very outdated look and it looks messy in your kitchen being that you aren’t doing the other one at the opposite corner.

Wait for your kitchen person to plan it.
I spent so much time brainstorming and asking others and the kitchen person just swooped in and created a plan that worked easily. All the time before was really a waste.

I’m doing a corner sink in my newly designed kitchen and I love the look... I think it’s a matter of personal preference.

A con of corner sinks is that it's harder to do dishes when you're pregnant because the sink is further back.
I prefer dishwashers to the right of the sink since I'm right handed, I find it awkward to load to the left side.
And I would try to fit more pantry space. Keep the broom closet. Keep the two separate ovens/stoves/microwaves.
And I agree with the other poster to make the dairy counter longer and push the oven further down, if that could work.
Keep the table, skip the island. If it's a real option to get more cabinets under the table that sounds like something worth looking into!

Thanks for this..I agree with a lot of what your saying, and its funny that you mention the dishwashers being on the left of the sink - because I'm left handed so I didnt even realize it, but I think thats better for me!

Something to think about....a u shaped kitchen with a peninsula between the empty space, and put the table in the area where the Milchig side is.

I'm enjoying this part..its part of the fun for me of the whole project. I actually designed the layout and look of my kitchen in my old house (it was much smaller) and I absolutely loved it!

Thats sort of what it looks like now - and we hate having the table near the wall - trying for a whole new look now.

The counter space thats most used is between the sink and the oven. Maximizing that is ideal.
Corner sinks are ok visually but when pregnant they are a pain.
I also didnt do wall ovens because they are so expensive.
You have a great space, so much potential!

Okay I guess everyone has their preference. I hate a table smack in the middle of all the counters and hullabaloo.
Especially when serving guest.

My thoughts exactly. It might be too much especially if you're planning on having 10 people around the table.

I dont know what choice I have - having it against the wall means it usually needs to be closer to the wall because of the two doorways that you see in the layout - and that is so annoying - having it moved all the time, I would rather a set place for the table. I dont know what else I can do except have it in the center...

I have a very similar size and layout kitchen, which I love. On the milchig side, I would switch the oven and the sink, which will give you working space on the either side of your sink.

Regarding corner cabinets, I got the simplest corner cabinet with two doors and a deep 24inch shelf along one wall only (to maximize accessibility). I keep two crock pots, a food processor, oversized pot and more in that cabinet. I was very frustrated with the lazy susan and full shelf options that I've had in the past.

What about doing a very small island (24*48 or so) in the kitchen to break up the eating area and the working area - and putting a table with benches near the open wall?

Hatzlacha and enjoy your new kitchen!
