What to wear under “shvimkleid”?

As a kid, when I had to wear a shvimkleid for camp etc, I always sneaked a bathing suit underneath.

The shvimkleid is sometimes made so loose or snaps can open. I've seen enough to be grossed out.

I swim in other swimwear tho. Shvimkleid was only for camp bec rule.

I wear a bikini bathing suit cuz when I got it I was nursing. More convenient. I have a 2 piece, not a dress.

undergarment and underwear underneath and I also put a tshirt on top as I feel my schwimkleid is a bit thin (I got a cheap $10 basic colours one). and see through knee high socks. easier to swim in than thicker socks or tights. my girls think I'm a bit crazy. oh well.

I actually think that if there were schwimkleider in the outside world, skin cancer rates would plumet.

A bathing suit of course! Never heard of anyone wearing just a swim dress, it doesn't have any support.
Why would you wear a regular bra and panty, if a bathing suit was created for swimming Rolling Eyes

I just feel more tznius that way. I don't make them dress like that when they go swimming!!! This is just my personal feeling. I don't foist all of my meshigas onto my poor children!

I wear a 2 piece bikini set under a swim dress.
For those that don't wear anything, please wear a bathing suit underneath, it's basic kavod habrios. No one needs to see your nipples and sagging breasts. Most panty parts are loose and the snaps can open.

A lot of women wear sports bras instead of bikini tops because they fit better, and many are actually made of the same or very similar fabric.

Most if not all chassidish camps have this rule. Our camp made this rule when I was in 8th grade or high school and I think it's a normal thing for chassidish camps. Girls used to wear really immodest swimwear and heavier girls would wear swimwear and very short t shirts that didn't look that flattering. A swimdress covers whatever needs to be covered.
