Thank you so much! I asked for no-mixer recipes on a different thread and only noticed this one bumped up.
These are exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks again!

About 2 cups. Can also be made with ground walnuts, but cake will not be as white.

Ever try it with honey/liquid sugar? I'd like to hear from someone before I experiment and potentially waste 8 eggs and expensive almonds.

None of these pesach cakes come out good in a 9x13 unless they have potato starch and/or cocoa.
These cakes are made of air. The bundt allows the air to circulate in the middle, and after baking the cake is turned over and cooled on a rack, then frozen. It looks beautiful and defrosts quickly.

Almost out of potato starch (not buying more!) and I only have white sugar, but the batter for the blondies tasted yummy going into the oven, so I'm sure it'll be delicious!

I mixed 1/3 of the batter with chocolate syrup (homemade - http://ronypony.blogspot.ca/20......html)
I layered 1/2 of the white batter on the bottom of the pan (parchment first), all of the chocolate batter in the middle, and the remaining white batter on top. Then "marbled" it in 2 directions with a knife.

Hope it comes out tasting as good as it looks going in!

Baking powder has baking soda in it, along with other ingredients. Unlike baking soda, it does some of its bubbling when you mix it and some only when it's heated. That's why some brands say "triple action" (dunno what the third action is lol).

I know it's very late...but I must share those 2 EASY recipes with you,.
you can mix all ingredients by hand -no mixer needed!and it takes about 3 minutes to prepare those yummy 2 cakes!

One bowl chocolate cake-Yum Yum Yum

6 eggs
1 1/2 cups suger
1 1/2 cups oil
3/4 cup cocoa
3/4 cup potato starch
1/2 teasppon baking soda

350 1 hour (check after 45 minutes) 9X13 pan

BLONDIES

mix everything in 1 bowl
4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
1 cup oil
3 teaspoons vanilla sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup potato starch
1
cup chocolate chips
1 bag ground nuts

bake in a 9x13 pan 350 40 minutes
should be a bit underdone

ENJOY!

I tried both on Friday. Chocolate cake had strange very wet texture (potato starchy mousse), after much longer baking. Blondie also was wet but tasted good. Not sure why the recipe says to take it out when still underdone... wet cakes arent that great tasting or serveable. Maybe its my oven....I compared it and Blondies is almost identical to the bottom of Susie Fishbein's crumb cake that everyone seems to like, difference is her crumb cake has no nuts and no choc chip but has ladyfinger mixture crumb topping, with Susie Fishbein's recipe having a total baking time of 55 minutes.
