Sorry to go totally off topic but..
If you have a treadmill and a laptop...
I only come on this site if I am on the treadmill. Now I don't have to count the minutes until I get off...

Chen when I voted I didn't have the choice of trendy/sporty or classy/elegant. Maybe it was a glitch but I definitely would've voted one of those.

I am totally dowdy.
My clothes are clean, but, alas, dowdy.
On Shabbos and for Simchas I do better, but during the week,......DOWDY.
It's OK, dh doesn't know the difference.
But, hey, I'm comfortable!!!!!

With the Hot Chanie/Hot Chaim debate; I thought I'd throw this out.....
Do you tend to dress more balabatische or more trendy? Not that one is dowdy and the other Hot, but the rhyme was best with Dowdy Devorah rather than Balabatsiche Bassie!

Absolutely not!
While I doubt I dress "trendy" (think Brenda's on 18th Ave.)- there is no way I dress what I used to call in high school "frummy-bummy" an outfit with some ugly applique on it and a matching elastic waist skirt).
There is a world of clothing out there that's tznius and good looking. Most of my weekday clothing is from stores like Gap, Lands End, and LL Bean.
While I definetly don't look like I just stepped out of Vogue, I am almost always wearing a nice A-line skirt , a sweater (depending on the season) with a cute pair of shoes.
For this past summer, I replaced my sweater with 3/4 sleeve collared polos from LL Bean. I definetly didn't look like I was going to a dinner party, but I didn't look "dowdy."
