So true.
Please expand on this message and help me delve into this so I can better understand

True, but we thought everyone already took care of their zaltz vaser at this point.

It's so soon after Purim, and everyone has forgotten the mitzvah of themes?!?

We do themed salt water every year.

Last year we shaped the granules of salt into magnificent snowflake shapes at the bottom of the bowl before we poured water over it.

The year before we did a rain theme and shaped the salt into raindrops at the bottom of the bowl. We also has a beautiful umbrella shape too.

This year I plan to write out the whole Ma Nishtana in salt at the bottom of the bowl before adding water, but Imamother took so much of my time....

We also use the recipe above but garnish the salt water holders- dip the rim in the salt water solution or any sticky substance such as maple syrup etc and then dip in pink himalayan salt- it has a very pretty effect

I done themes first

Wow! Really impressive! Definitely on the winning team Smile
Do your kids though color the salt first with chalk to give that extra wow effect?

Color is key! And only homemade dehydrated beet juice will do. We boiled and peeled the beets, and they're in the dehydrator now. Then we grind them up by hand with an ancient stone from prehistoric Europe, all to give the salt water some pizazz. (Not pizza!)

Huh? Thread? Who’s talking about mending? That was done even before my kids were born. That’s how advanced *I* am.

Which thread you referring to?

Love, love, love that idea. Would you market it and sell it on amazon? Perhaps the dehydrated version would be easier to ship? I'm sure you would have mega sales from working mom's like me who worry about not having time to collect all of our tears ans sweat (just put a chicken in the oven.... so tired but no tears).

I can't seem to find the yawning emoticon.

Did you have to say the evil M word? It's the one thing on my list which keeps getting pushed off for the next day, and then the next day, and... No matter how early I get my shopping done, and no matter how many times I promise myself that I won't leave it for the last minute, even if I write it in BIG BLOCK LETTERS on the very top of my list, in RED INK, double underlined and bold, every year without fail I end up staying up bedikas chometz until the wee hours of the morning bent over my sewing machine. Twisted Evil

This had me rolling.
Do you also have microscopic stomachs? Because I love mahshi and I can't imagine one rice grain will be enough.

Oops. Gotta put a trigger alert then. My sil does her sewing & mending before pesach cleaning. One year I took her advice & boy was I thankful! This year there was no shopping & no mending yay! Dancing

To anyone who plans to do this, please make sure you add your water before yom tov (avada before Shabbos) because of mochek.
Thank you.

Sadly they were all out of stock. Therefore I was so glad when JF started this awesome thread.
I would b very honored if you share your book though.

Thankfully I do have the ‘Matzah crumbs- 100 different ways to get your yachatz perfect’ which includes a section on how to get the most crumbs on the floor during motzi matzah & korach.
