If anyone wants cost effective meat ideas- I’m making pizza with corned beef deli I got on sale. Pastrami works too. The corned beef is on sale at evergreen Lakewood for 6.50 a pack
Homemade pizza dough/flatbread, bbq base, seared corned beef slices, sautéed onions, lettuce and drizzle garlic mayo on top

Yes, I do the grilled chicken and I find chicken steaks on sale, I make stir fry and all that, but a real YT seudah to be made without meats is still a challenge for our dietary needs in order to feel Yom-Tov-dik. |
I fully agree with that statement
But here is the thing
We can’t get it all
We can’t get healthy
And cheap
And filling
And special
And quick
And yom tov is 1 week
There is a reason that most of us revert to serving meat.
Each of us has to determine which of these we are willing to compromise on

We don’t have meat all year except yom tov. Is it so bad if we’re having a roast, London broil and corn beef for 6 meals? Then stuff cabbage and a roast for second days. We won’t have meat again till pesach. It’s every six months. Relax. We don’t have meat for shabbos Chanuka or Shabbos nachamu
