Never heard of an employer throwing out someone's personal belongings like that. There can be rules about what you can bring onto workplace property (no alcohol, weapons etc) but never heard a cooler was forbidden. So an employee who is not pumping cant bring their own lunch to work?!?
Never heard about anyone tossing away milk. It is yours and that should be destruction of private property. And in many states if not all, they have to provide you with a refrigerator to store the milk in too.
Fully breastfeeding my infant now. Work full time (35+ a week) and I pump. My employer knows the laws and I am not afraid to stand up for those rights. I pump at work, they give me a private non bathroom space to pump in with a chair and an outlet... and I bring a cooler to bring my milk home. I use a workplace fridge to store it there.
You obviously dont know what it is like working in the real world in the USA.
And if an employer is violating the law, just get an attorney to write a letter. The mere threat is enough. And if they fire you, you can probably also sue for wrongful termination.

Pfizer never said it stops transmission.
But on the ground it was found to stop transmission of the original, alpha, and delta strains. For omicron it doesn't stop transmission.
I don't understand why people still mask. I think those who are still masking believe their masks will protect them. I always feel bad for them (and bad that I'm not wearing a mask for them), because their mask won't protect them - for them to be protected, everyone else would need to be wearing a mask, and no one is, so their own masks are useless. I'm all for masking in doctors' offices and such, but if the office isn't going to enforce the rule (and they don't), then they should drop it entirely, because having a rule that isn't enforced is very damaging to their credibility in general.

Do you believe that women are discriminated against in the workplace? This is most of how that discrimination happens. People like to talk about wages, but really the dollar-per-hour isn't discriminating based on gender, it's just that women work less hours and at lower-paying jobs than men. The real discrimination is what happens when a woman wants to be a mother, or becomes a mother: how she is allowed to care for herself prenatally and postpartum, how she is allowed to care for her baby, and what the risks of doing those things are. (And in far too many cases the woman falls between the cracks and the law doesn't actually protect her.) |
Please give me an example of someone who was told they can't bring a cooler and/or their milk will be dumped, like you said.

I have. And the women whose milk was tossed live in the USA.
The workplace usually provides a fridge, and the issue with milk is claimed to be "foreign biological material" or some such thing. I don't agree with it, it's wrong, I'm just saying this happens. Whether it's in violation of the law or not likely depends on the state, but again, it doesn't matter, it happens.
Look, I also stood up for my rights, in ways that other women don't always. My employers respect me for it. For years I looked down on people who didn't stand up for themselves and then went kvetching about having their rights trampled. At some point I began to understand that it's very hard to stand up for your rights when you are vulnerable, and I shouldn't judge them.
I also did the attorney letter trick a couple times. I'm always shocked when people don't think of it, it's a very good scare tactic. But many just don't. So I'm just saying, yes there is coercion going on, yes in the US, yes in the workplace, yes on whether a woman must feed her baby formula. It happens.
And I applaud you for standing up for your rights and putting your foot down. IRL we would either go head-to-head or be friends headbutting our bosses. But yeah, not everyone is like this, not everyone has the guts and energy for it, and this stuff happens.
You're right she can sue, many do sue after they have left. It's much harder to put your foot down in real time than it is to sue after you're out of that situation.

You're asking for names of women and their employers? Because I don't think it would be right to share that info without their permission.
Or are you assuming that these stories made news? They did not make news. I have no links to give you. These are personal accounts from the women who it happened to, they did not make news.

What would they do for an insulin dependent employee?
And my state requires them to give me access to a fridge to store my milk. So if it is foreign biological material then I need my own hazmat labeled fridge. But they still need to provide me with a fridge.
BH my supply has kept up and I plan to do zero formula for as long as I can. I have nothing against formula besides the cost. And I am glad it is there for those who cant nurse/pump. Fed is best. But BH my milk is enough for my baby and my baby is BH growing nicely.

I'm guessing that for insulin the employer would allow the employee to keep the insulin in the fridge, or agree to a cooler. Obviously this isn't legal, and the employer is in the wrong. I will ask if I can share some of her details. I make no promises.
Like I said likely much of this is state-dependent.
I was also lucky enough to have employers who were supportive and provided me with a fridge and a place to pump. But later I learned that it's not a given.
BTW not everyone's supply keeps up once they return to work, even if they pump regularly. Mine did, and yours does, so BH we are blessed. But for many women returning to work means being forced to give formula. It shouldn't be that way, it doesn't have to be that way, but that's what it is for millions of women.
This should really be a split-off....

Now for those who do not understand the significance of this admittance, it is this:
The bird-chatter mantra ‘do what’s best for others/protect others - GET INJECTED’ - was a farce.
Some of us knew this by virtue of the simple fact that if you are immunized against a pathogen by vaccination or inoculation, then others who are not immunized against this same pathogen are in no way, shape, or form a threat to you. That would have been, in fact, the logic behind getting immunized - you are rendered protected from the pathogen and when subsequent challenge or exposure inevitably occurs, you would likely have no symptoms at all in the event that the immunization was effective.

This was clearly, as the mantra ‘safe and effective’ also currently is, propaganda to serve a purpose - to inject every man, woman and child with experimental gene therapy products ‘to see how safe it is’, and to lay the foundation for the future - which as I see it, clearly involves normalization of the entirely abnormal. And I mean that literally. Gene therapy is NOT vaccination by any previous or standard definition and has not been utilized on a scale even close to this one in the past in the context of a viral pathogen. We subsequently have no data for comparison.
As a side note of the flood of revelations that is starting/continuing to pour in as part the deluge of truth, Project Veritas Journalist James Lalino recently tried to ask the ‘Senior Director Worldwide Research, Development & Medical Communications at Pfizer’: Vanessa Gelman, what was up with fetal cell lines being used in production of some of the products that were mandated for injection - even in the face of legitimate written requests for abstention based on religious or medical exemptions. She got an extra little work out in from running away from this gentleman reporter.
You can run, but you can’t hide forever, as Scary Terry once said. And maybe you should just act like a grown-up and act in the name of the title that you hold or at least, in the name of some of the words in your held title: ‘Senior’, ‘Director’, ‘Worldwide’, ‘Research’, ‘Development’, ‘Medical Communications’. Take your pick.
Back to the subject matter of farcical mantras, I implore you all to watch the following little short where all can see clearly what I wrote at the start - the admittance of a lack of any evidence to support having constantly and repeatedly force-fed this nonsense sentiment (and it was simply a sentiment - it was the antithesis of any science-based) of ‘do it to save grandma’ to the entire human species.

Let the truth out. It will. Be steadfast, logical, and use the law. In the face of the revelation of what actually happened over the past 2 years, we must let that face shine now. No make-up. Yes, a few people who could have made all the difference in the world made very bad choices. Yes, this entire thing was unethical. Yes, this entire thing was baseless in science and merit. Most people will be learning this for the first time soon. Let them learn. Let the cord unravel and be there at the ends to allow unravelling with ease.
Be patient to some degree. The revelation of simple facts will take time: the censorship monster is a biggie-doodle. And no, we should NOT have to do this, but we must.

Based on current data Sweden and Denmark have stopped vax for under 18.
Why would anyone give this vax to kids? Why is US and FDA still pushing this vax for kids?!

I havent had time to read most of the posts. My 2 cents are that I dont know what Pfizer specifically said, because I never heard a spokesperson from them. I just heard the cdc and media saying what pfizer said. And that was that people who were vaccinated couldnt transmit the disease. That was the reason and defense for "vaccine passports" and all the mandates and what caused so many people to lose their jobs. If you had the magical vaccine (and for the record, everyone in my family got both shots and at least 1 booster) then you couldnt transmit the disease to others. But actually, you could get it, have few or no symptoms and still transmit it to others.
I, along with many others, will never trust a word that the CDC says. And that is one of the real tragedies here.

One additional point about not trusting people in power: Fauci had the gall to say that the covid vaccine for kids was a good idea and he didn't understand the pushback from it because for decades kids have not been allowed in schools without vaccines for polio and measles, etc.. He knows full well that those diseases are deadly for kids while covid is no more than the common cold for kids who dont have major underlying conditions. How can this man call himself a doctor? He couldnt care less about the health of kids. I wonder how much he made from the vaccine companies...

No..this isn't what happens. What does happen is women forced to pump in a bathroom. Or forced to use their lunch hour to pump. Or are docked time from work for disappearing to pump. Or the women who produce nothing while pumping so are forced to use formula. All these situations cause many of us to not breast feed and forces us to use formula. It absolutely does happen even though you may not realize it
