I tried it today. Mine came out chewy after baking for 20 mins then switching the top and bottom for another 5 mins. I feel like they aren't baked through.

How large are the cookies supposed to be? How thick?

Can you tell I almost never bake? 😄

No potato starch for us so I've been making this for years. With liquid sugar, but I got annoyed at the batter being so liquidy that I started pouring the whole thing into a 9x13, as brownies. Comes out more than fine.

How long do you bake it for?

I’ve used it for years. The Costco one. (And I add chocolate chips).

Thank you!

FYI, I made this recipe and asked my Rav regarding the bracha. He isn't sure if they are haeitz or shehakol

Why should they be haetz? You can't see the nuts in it. We make shehakol

You can mix in some bigger nuts instead of all ground nuts, like instead of chocolate chips, and then they will definitely be Haetz

Did anyone try baking these in a betty crocker or on a hot plate?

Came out great! Did a batch with almonds and a batch with coconut.
Shape cookies on paper right next to Betty crocker, then transfer whole sheet (just lift paper. Fix whatever moved away. Easier if you can do over an upside-down cookie sheet and slide paper off - I didn't have any)

Fit 19 cookies at a time. One batch of cookies is one full plus one partially full shift in the betty crocker.

Did not totally figure out timing.
I think for nuts 13 min one 1 side 4 min on other would be perfect.
Already forgot how long I did with coconut. Wink
