A good friend of mine did my sons bris and didnt charge us. I would like to get him a gift. What do you think would be an appropriate gift? Its also VERY late,my son is already nine months old

My sons mohel didnt charge either. We gave him money cause I believe that is what is expected. No set amount-just what you want.

I have the same thing-- a relative did my son's britot. We did things like dinner gift certificates and play tickets. He told me the best gift he ever got for doing a friend's bris was a year's supply of diapers (he had just had a baby himself)

I would just give him a nice check-I think cash is the best gift for most people.
