please post substitutes that you use instead of harsh chemicals.
Use vinager and water 1:2 for wood floors instead of using the other cleaning products.

I use shaklee basic h. It's very concentrated so a little lasts a long time. S/t I add a drop of lavender essential oil to make it smell good. I use it for e/t -- floors, counters,laundry stain remover (for laundry det. I use bio kleen) etc.

I also use Melaleuca. Good stuff.
YOu can use white vinegar as fabric softner. Borax is a good substitute for a lot of things you can do with bleach and while it would probably be harmful if eaten, it is basically a large granual baking soda. You can use baking soda to scrub your bath or sink.
