The one that works best for me is Clinique's kohl eyeliner in the plum color. On the top lid, it stays on for two days straight, and is also longer lasting on the lower lashes.

I have the fluidline from MAC as well, but I WOULD NOT suggest using that on the inside of your eye. I actually have very sensitive eyes and if I use a cheaper pencil my eyes will swell up. So I either use the MAC pencil or I use Maybelline waterproof liner, I believe it's called Unstoppable. And I usually like to line only the inside of my lids.
