If a skirt on the GAP website is labeled above the knee and I get the tall version will it cover the knee, and long enough to do so when sitting also. I'm about 5'6ish. It says the tall version is about 2 inches longer. What do you think? Has anybody done this?
Also how does GAP sizes run? bigger? smaller? exact?
Thanks.

What about calling or emailing them? Or odering and trying it, and returning it when it doesn't cover the knees?

if you call them, they will tell you the exact length - they have it in their system.

If it's a pencil skirt the hips may be off. But the fit should be the same, just longer, if it's an a-line or flair.

Wow I would KILL for "tall sizes" to exist in France.
My only tip would be to take a regular size but bigger and wear it on your hips so it's longer. story of my life...
