I'm the OP of that thread. A few posters mentioned that when you want yo do the right thing, H' often lets u 'see' it's the right thing, as is evident on my thread.
A couple months back, right before succos one of my teen dd wanted to try out a new brisket dish for shabbos chol hamoed. She'd seen her friend's mom make it, and had sampled some. My kids enjoy helping out with cooking for yt, and I generally appreciate it, but this was a pricey cut, and as I'd already bought my meat for yt, I told her that maybe for shabbos chanuka..but she should ask me before I make my order if she wants to pitch in with the cooking.
Fast forward to erev shabbos chol hamoed, I'd sent the food to the family I was pitching out with, but I had hoped that I'd manage another dish or 2, but it was getting towards lecht bensching, and it wasn't happening!
A knock on the door....my cousin had cooked a large quantity of THAT particular cut of meat, but last minute her guests had cancelled as their baby had chicken-pox... She kicked herself for not offering them the meat when they came to tell her, and it was too late to walk there before Shab.
So..she knocked on, asking if I could make use of it, she's frozen it once already so couldn't refreeze, and was now left with way more then she need sans her guests. (We're that type of neightbours, often sharing back and forth)
So..my family got the meat my dd wanted to make...and I had an extra dish, the pargioyt I'd made but were now surplus, to send to 'my' family! Yes, guess I could've frozen it, but it was obvious to me where it was gonna go!

Hi can anyone help me?
This is a spin-off from the thread 'Think it's the right thing, but doesn't feel right' in the Finance forum. I want to link the thread to show the context, but I don't know how to do it.
Can anyone link it it for me? It's ongoing now so should be easy to find. Thank you!

Wow amazing that you get to see Yad Hashem so often. It must have something to do with the Chesed you’re doing.
