Tretinoin is the only one which works to actively prevent wrinkles and lessen the ones you already have.

I'm not sure this qualifies as anti-aging, but I've been using oil of olay for years.

I get it with a prescription. I pay $90 for a tube but it lasts for 3 months. Maybe more. You only need a small amount and I don't use it every night since it dries out my skin especially in the winter. I'm 45 and have just started to get tiny wrinkles on my forehead. It also lightened the sun spots on my face. People always think I'm at least 10 younger.

And I religiously apply sunscreen every day. And in the summer at the pool I constantly reapply.

So many people do a complicated routine where they use a million different creams and serums. It's so unnecessary. The main things you need are a cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, and a retinol like Tretnoin. Sometimes I'll apply vitamin C as well although I haven't seen that it makes a huge difference on my face.

No you can't.

As eggshell described it isn't necessary to use daily as it'll dry the skin and cause peeling. 2-3 times weekly is enough depending on the strength.
You can get it from a dermatologist.
I get it for about 10 dollars a tube from an online company. I pay via a bank transfer

When you see what it does to your hands, you will want to use it on your face at some point.
I started putting some under my chin and neck and noticed a difference. Now I also dab some under/around my eyes too.
In general I look younger than I am and always had smooth skin but I started noticing small signs of aging and this really works wonders!
In the morning I wash my face with a gentle facial cleanser and then use an oil free moisturizer before putting on my noncomedogenic makeup.
(I do not smear the AHAVA cream all over my face since I don’t need something all over. Btw/ AHAVA makes an anti aging cream too but I never tried it. I’m going to assume it’s similar ingredients.)

The ingredients in La Mer are very similar to ones in drugstore moisturizers. They totally just bank off the name.

I started using snail mucus serum. I like the way it makes my skin feel.

I saw a cream in Costco called skII it’s about $250 with a special rare ingredient derived from yeast. I wonder if the price means that it works lol.

Agree to disagree. But I look 20 years younger so I won’t complain regardless

The ingredients are different, but at the same time, Nivea Creme works excellently, and if you're not sensitive to the fragrance, it's a great option for dry skin types.

There are basically two separate ways that skincare "anti-ages":

One is retinoids, which encourage skin cell turnover. There are also other specific ingredients in certain products that do specific things, like fading dark spots.

But the other, plain old fashioned moisturizers, sunscreens, and skin protectants, while they don't specifically target anything, help protect your skin against damage. And it doesn't have to be anything fancy, as long as it works and doesn't irritate you or clog your pores.

(BTW, what does and doesn't clog your pores isn't as exact a science as some people make it out to be. You'll know something clogs your pores if you use it and your pores get clogged, even if people claim it doesn't do that. A lot of the info comes from animal testing and your face is not a rabbit's ear.)
