Please advise. I have a six quart Hamilton beach crock pot and can buy another the same size if necessary. But in general, how much would I expect guests to eat if they come from a big kiddush and there will be other food like deli and schnitzel served?
Thanks!

8 quarts gives you 16-20 servings of soup.

You think one six quart would be enough?

I would do more than a 6 quart (but I always prefer to have extra)

All adults or kids.
I had 17 ppl last Shabbos. Mostly teens ands adults . 8 qt full cholent pot was enough. But I served other food. Like kugel, deli, liver, salad, chicken and appple cobbler.

4 kids, 2 teens and the rest adults. There will be fish, salad, deli, schnitzel and kugel as well. Sounds like 8 quart is good. Tysm.
