They seem to be popular for giving birth
Why ?
My 1st baby was born in good Sam but not so happy with doc so wondering is this why ppl choose these hospitals or the hospitals themselves are better? If yes how ?

Friend delivered in Hackensack. Nurse disregarded when she told her the IV wasn't working. Botched epidural. Great doctor ( Abdelak) but that's about it.

Westchester is a disaster. Not sure why jews still go there. Its comparable to maimonedes... Had a horrid experience there anyone who has a medically fragile family member knows to avoid at all costs

My sister hemorrhaged in good Sam er. They barely looked at her. Finally they gave her meds. But she had lost so much blood he levels were at 7.1. They roughly discharged her cuz they needed the bed. And she was above 7. So no transfusions. It was a crazy busy night.
She was discharged and got off the bed even though she said she was dizzy and her bp was low. She got up and promptly collapsed. It was horrible horrible horrible.
I deliver in valley. I've had horrific hemorrhage and received top notch care. Not just extremely competent. But also so so so attentive gentle and kind.

Horrible horrible experience in good Sam.
Westchester is really bad too.
Great experience at valley OB.
