Wonderful… more dirt in the media. Just what the community needs... What happened to going to Beis Din?

I agree. Bais din is probably a better route.
Just wondering,
Were you also concerned when Yeshiva World News posted slander about them initially? Did the negativity bother you at that time as well?
This question isn't aimed at you specifically, it's just something to ponder.

Bais din usually isn't helpful, unfortunately.
You wouldn't know if they already tried the Bais din route first....

Of course their suing in court and not beis din, because if hatzulas nefushos cared what rabbanim think they wouldn't have started their organization in the first place. And regarding whether it bothered me when YWN spoke negatively against then, the answer is No, it's a mitzvah to publicly oppose a person who is endangering lives just to get revenge at hatzalah over a personal fight.

You don’t seem to understand the basic issue here
He started the organization after hatzala refused to open a branch there and told him “open your own” as a spite
So he did. Hatzala does not handle “competition” well
I know intimate details, the EMT did everything according to protocol. He’s a licensed trained EMT just like hatzala EMT’s.
It’s the hatzala paramedic who abandoned the call after learning that it’s not a hatzala call. Abandoning a call is a huge no no
(ETA-this resulted in a huge delay in care, bh thr child was ok in the end)
Additionally, the arriving BLS forced the patient into the other ambulance while the parents protested and said they don’t agree to this..all in middle of a heavy intersection of passing cars which is a huge disregard for safety
I’Il tell you this: I’m a licensed EMT and the first thing they teach us is SAFETY FIRSG
The bris din here is a corrupt piece of garbage. They don’t care to enforce Halacha. My neighbors all went to bris din against a builder who never built the shul even after specific terms in the contract were met. The beis din did nothing. Absolutely nothing. They’re in pockets of people here. Every homeowner paid the builder money towards a shul that doesn’t exist. He should either build it or return their money
This article that YWN posted was defamation and false.
But it caused a reduction in calls. I hope they win and hatzala members need to stop playing politics.
I know if another incident in which a hatzala paramedic arrived to a BLS call and verbally harassed the patient for calling hatzala nafoshas. she was having difficulty breathing yet he delayed care and berated her even as she protested that she can’t breathe.
By now it turned into dirty politics, I hate it too
But shame on YWN, they always do this stuff.

Sweet as pie, I'm not that bored to explain piece by piece why virtually nothing you said is true, but I have a feeling that it was written by a man, not a female EMT. Also if you're the righteous defender against defamation than why are you defaming rabbanim, beis din, hatzalah, and a Jewish news site.

Perhaps this will have a long term benefit. Our media may think twice about using their platform to play politics.

I was thinking the same thing…
