A pa once told me that saline in a nebulizer. Within 24 hours we saw a major difference. But we did it every 4 hours around the clock.

10 definitely not too young for saline rinse. They make it for babies too!

But you need to be consistent. Use it every day, even when it's cleared up.

Another vote for antihistamine- we happen to use Zyrtec.

What about giving her an additional pillow? Elevation could ease up the coughing.
I have a thick pillow in my home that became “the coughing pillow”.

When I had that with my 8 yr old, PA recommended going off dairy. Worked practically immediately. Very motivated to stay, coz it comes back as soon as dairy is consumed.

Antihistamine before bed. Pillow slightly elevated, so the head is a bit slanted.

For the saline nebulizer, how do you do it exactly?
You can get little vials of saline to put in a regular nebulizer?

we liked xyzal, take it before bed and works throughout the next day. worked best for us when no other OTC antihistimine/allergy med worked. We also cut out dairies for a while. And used a humidifier in the bedroom.
