Want to see what's considered average bedtime for 10 year olds?
Thanks!

He's up right now
But really I aim for 9 PM. That's what it would be for me ideally

My third grader is still awake 😞
I try to get him to be in his room by 8:30, lights out at 9… some nights it happens…

My 4th grader is just starting to get ready for bed now 😩. My first grader goes to sleep 8:30, wakes up on her own at 7:30, bus comes 8:30, so that’s perfect.
My 4th grader ideally should be in bed 9:30.
But it’s usually not before 10. Or 10:30 🙈🙈.
She wakes up early though; gets herself ready in the morning and all. So I’m not going to force her to go to sleep earlier.

at that age they need 8-10 hours of sleep so my just turned 10 year old goes to sleep around 9 or 9:30 and wakes up around 7.

I was just discussing it with her. Her bedtime is 8:30ish. But then she reads in bed and I don't check up on her to see until what time she reads.
She claims most girls' bedtime is 9:00, and her best friend's bedtime is 9:30, but that kid is the oldest of 6 and helps her mother a ton. She can only do her homework at 9:00 because that's when the house is quiet, and that's when she calls my DD (who is in bed already).
DD doesn't help much. She comes home from school at 4:30, does her homework right away, and then eats supper. From when she finishes eating around 5:30 she has three solid hours to do whatever she wants.

My 10 yo DD in fifth grade is supposed to be in bed by 8:30. Sometimes she's a little later, but latest latest 9. In the morning she doesn't always wake up on her own, sometimes I wake her at 8, giving her a half hour to be ready for the bus.
She often doesn't get a straight night's sleep because my baby shares a room with her and wakes up 1-3 times a night...

4th grader , age 9. Between 9:00 and 10:00. My older kids were probably in bed by 8:00 at that age . I’m just to lazy to put him to bed …

8.30-9, usually 9 but I think she needs 8.30.
She's gets up at 6.30
I'm a big believer that sleep deprivation is a cause of so many issues our kids have nowadays
