The other thread got me thinking, I have a babysitter in my home, I was planning on writing a nice card and give her chocolates and a small gift card.
Am I really expected to give her a week's worth of pay which is a LOT of money??
I can stretch $100
I'm in bklyn if location matters

Yes, that’s the industry standard for nannies- but you give what you can and a nice note is extremely appreciated.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. I’m wondering how it works if you share a babysitter with someone at their house ? How much is expected ? Or is a gift better
