I didn’t say it’s the cheapest water bottle, but it’s a good product for a decent price and encourages good habits.
Side point, I haven’t found a cheap water bottle that actually keeps water cold for that long.

As a grandmother, be very careful before buying anything personalized for grandkids. Make sure that it’s something they and their parents will be happy with or at least okay with.
It drives me batty when my mother buys the kids personalized gifts without checking first if it’s something the kid even wants

All of mine have gotten moldy and started to leak. I've never had that since I switch to owala

I have a Stanley dupe from Amazon that cost about $20.
I put ice and water in in in the morning, and the ice is still there when I come home from work hours later!
off brands can still be quality items! Only thing it doesn't have is the Stanley logo

My daughter specifically didn't want a Stanley because it's heavy, metal and has a straw that would be her responsibly to clean.
She chose something that she felt wasn't too big or heavy to carry to school and hold her cold water (no it doesn't stay icy but it's gone before then).
I don't know the brand name. Just checked my order history. It's contigo

I send my children money and they buy appropriate gifts for the grandchildren in my name. Win-win-win.

I only like my water ice cold. My Walmart ones for $10/12 stay cold literally for 24 hours. I don’t see the need to spend so much for a fad

The flip straw is on sale for $26 on Amazon right now. $26 for my kids to drink ice cold water all day is a trend I’ll gladly buy into. I’ve spent a lot more on trend a lot dumber. |
Yes I got that one
I will need such a thing after my baby is born cuz I am dead thirsty when I nurse
It looks very sturdy and nice.
I’m told some Stanley’s leak, but not this style
My daughter has Owala. She’s very happy too
Link to mine. On sale now

Stanley’s were in last year.
The very yeshivish world seems to be a step behind.
Know your crowd - yeshivish / Lakewood , yes they are in. Otherwise don’t buy it.

I heard that Stanleys tested to have lead in them. I wouldn't get them.

I think all metal ones have lead. It’s a fear of mine but we like our water cold. Not sure what to do

Most of these types of bottles have lead. It’s no danger to you, it can’t possibly effect you

I will say I’m a huge fan of Stanley’s. They have kept my water ice cold for DAYS, and that’s even when sitting in car all day in the sun during 98 degree summer

This is a great gift idea! I would engrave the names on the actual cups.
My daughters say Stanley is still in and we are in Lakewood.

According to lead safe mama, Stanley's have lead. Owalas don't.
If I understood correctly, The lead in the Stanley isn't in the actual cup but in some other part that's supposed to be covered but can potentially become exposed. And the the poster who said it can't harm you, it absolutely can, and is of more harm to children.

If your grandkids care about the trends, Stanleys started dying out before the summer in the non jewish world, so all the frum communities will probably be catching up in the next few months. 🤷

According to my high school sister,
Stanley's are, "over rated in a cool way" and owalas are "underrated" cool.
I can never keep up with the trends, in a few months it'll be a different brand.
