Hi anyone have information or experience they can share about the Yom HaChuppa course with either of the two?
I'm looking into them and trying to find out more information. Marrying off a daughter. Thank you.

My newlywed niece did the Chaimowitz course with her mother. Her take on it was that mothers love it because it makes them cry but for the kallahs it was too intense. Make of that what you will.

I really appreciated it as a kallah, but that was 7 years ago.

I was at chaimowitz a few weeks ago. My daughter and I both loved it.
Lubins shiurim are totally different. From what I understand, her topic is intimacy, while chaimowitz doesn't touch that topic. So it's 2 different things.

I did chaimowitz twice, once for Killah and once for chussen.
I did nit find that she makes the Mother's cry, at all. Her shiur is very practical, gives you lots of insights as to why we do things, and guides you thru entire Simcha. I would highly recommend, and whatever she says that doesn't talk to you just skip. She gave alot of advice and ideas how to make your Simcha with simcha!

I did both as a kallah and likes Lubin more.

Chaimowitz had great practical advice. Lubin helped marriage not sound so scary.

Lubin is phenomenal. Chaimowitz is recommended for mom of boy. For the kallah, I found it just breeds anxiety. Makes it very intense. I walked out of her course. I heard the same from many girls.

I went to both of them years ago as a kallah. Chaimowitz is more technical about yom hachupah, the details of the ceremonies and how to be present and mindful at the same time. Lubin talks about intimacy and Mikvah.

As a kallah I appreciated Lubin more. It felt like a necessity.
Chaimowitz was an extra.

What does Lubin add that a kallah teacher doesn't?

Any more or updated info on this?
Trying to decide if to go and to who?
What did it mean those that say she’s intense ? In what way? Can anyone elaborate more on what they talk about?

Intense as in she simulates a chuppah. She closes the lights and plays chuppah music while describing what's going to be and how the kallah circles the chosson.
That's whats intense. Chaimowitz's goal is that all your emotions should be given out before the wedding so that you can fully be present in the moment.
I look forward to the classes given for the mothers of the chosson

Lubin, I once went to a shiur she was giving and I walked out of there very confused. She's in the middle of saying one story, changes topics and starts a new story, then pivots back to the first story.

You can't compare the two. Lubin gives a shiur on marriage. Chaimowitz does Yom Hachuppa. She goes thru the entire day starting from when you wake up and gives hashkafah, halacha and practical advice for example she tells you nice hashkafos and things to think about when the chusson comes into badeken but in the next sentence she'll tell you where to put the pins for the veil. At the end of her course she simulates a chuppah, which is super emotional for lots of kallahs.
