I have a regular bassinet by my bed for nights, and an uppababy bassinet attached to the stroller. I keep hearing the term ‘sleep safe’, and I’m not sure if the uppbbay bassinet is. Is it the kind of thing my newborn can sleep in during the day?

Yes it's rated for overnight sleeping, my babies use it exclusively.
