How does the crowd compare to Ohr Chedva?
I know it's still hard to figure out the type since it's still so new, but what's the type they are going for?

Not sure about canteen. I don't think it includes tips- but it does include transportation from NY area

I believe they were trying to keep it more out of town/by, but it turned out to me a regular mainstream camp with brand names and in town girls..
The price does not include tips or canteen or luggage. That’s all separate

It’s possible different bunks we’re different girls but the vibe I got was a regular camp with girls from Brooklyn, Lakewood and some out of towners. My daughter said most girls had an aviator sweatshirt (over $100) and it was not as BY as they claimed to be..

There wasn't enough Lakewood girls to fill a bus up to camp! Not in towny at all

A lot of 5t and
Monsey mainstream girls . The girls my daughter’s age were definitely into skincare and brands . At least in that bunk. I consider this in town def not out of towny. I would say similar
To ohr Chedva sviva

The culture of Maarava isn't very OOT.

I’m not sure what you mean by the culture. It’s filled with fun and ruchnius but the girls are OOT which makes it that vibe

Culturally mtm and maarava are in town, meaning girls are into brand names, the camp's giveouts are knockoffs of brand name items...

On here it equals in town by everyone who doesn't live there. I actually think lakewood is more oot vibe than monsey, 5towns, brooklyn etc..

I think in town is meant to say into stuff albeit brand names and skin care. Obviously Lakewood is very in town in that regard but so is monsey Brooklyn and five towns . Places like Jacksonville , Denver , Houston , Dallas , Cleveland , Detroit are probably less into “in “ things.

My daughter had a bunk that was mainly girls from Lakewood and even though this particular daughter of mine is in to brand names etc she still had a hard time that year with so much of the East Coast culture even beyond where she was holding in fashion (this is my kid who wears Alo, Lululemon, UGGs, has a Stanley, etc)
My older daughter who doesn't really care about brand names felt like she was done with the camp after 2 summers.
The staff is great, the girls are great, the programming is great.... I'm still sending girls there!
I just don't consider it to be an out of town flavor at all.
I think a higher percent than you would imagine is from the East Coast. We live a 3 hour drive away from the camp and needed pull to get in because it was full from girls not from the Midwest...

I think it must depend a lot on the bunk that you’re placed in. In my dd bunk it was majority all OOT with only a few girls from ny. The girls were very down to earth, not super into gashmius and a great bunch all around.
