I’ve reached a milestone birthday and with that I now have sagging skin.
I have always been told that I look much younger than I am. My skin was very smooth in the past.
Now I have light wrinkles around my eyes and my chin and neck is sagging and wrinkled.
I would probably be the perfect candidate for a face lift but I don’t have the courage to go through with it.
I know there are other options but I don’t know what they are.
What could I do to tighten my wrinkled neck and hide my now pronounced double chin?
What type of non surgical procedures are effective?
Thanking you in advance.

Other than holding your head up high and wearing turtlenecks? Not much nonsurgical. Botox relaxes muscles that cause expression lines but it doesn't glue skin back to the flesh.

lol! I DO hold my head up high for pictures!
And I love how turtlenecks hide my wrinkled neck….

I always thought there were options like chemical peels, blue light, laser that can help with wrinkles without surgery.

Sorry, but you’d need to start in your 30s for that to work

Chemical peels and so on temporarily remove flaky skin and very fine dry skin lines. They do not re-glue sagging skin to the underlying flesh or remove deep expression lines. Surgery is like taking in a garment that's too big in places: it removes excess hanging skin and snugly glues or stitches back in place whatever's left so it looks smooth.

I am in my early 50’s.
Can you please explain each procedure?
My biggest problem is not with wrinkles.
It’s like my face fell.
My problem area is my chin and neck.
My small double chin became a big double chin and my neck is sagging.
Would any of what you suggested help in those areas?
The small wrinkles near my eyes are really not that noticeable and don’t bother me (yet).

You sound a lot like me. I have tried a few things and they were a total waste of time and money. I tried Ultherapy which is supposed to tighten neck, it was very painful and expensive and didn't help at all. I have tried some lasers which was also a waste. I was told to try threading I think its called, where they thread your skin and tighten but I can't afford anymore and am too scared. Would love a mini face lift but am too scared for that too.

I do workouts that help with this.

Collagen applied to the outside is useless. You may as well rub shoe leather on your face. Collagen injected into the skin? Supposedly fills in wrinkles and makes skin look smoother. Like Botox, it is not a permanent fix and has to be repeated when the effects wear off. Neither of these treatments does anything for skin that sags due to weight loss (which is like stretched-out underwear that won't shrink back to shape) or due to age, which is like an old label sliding off a jar because the glue is disintegrating and no longer sticks. Only nip-and-tuck surgery (exactly what it sounds like) works for that.

FTR the term "aging gracefully" has nothing to do with looks and everything to do with attitude, activity both physical and mental, and lifestyle in general. Your face can be a prune and your neck a wreck and you can still be aging as gracefully as a swan floating across a lake.

Same.
I did Invisalyn and I maintain a good weight. I wear makeup and jewelry and dress well. I do the best I can without anything surgical. Oh and I dye my hair and brows.
