Im seriously considering buying a Roborock vacuum, probably the s7 or 8 model.
One question-can you program it to only vacuum an area, even if its a floor not a carpet? Or will it sense that its a floor, and will therefor automatically mop it?
Both my kitchen and dining room are floors, but different types. I'd want it to vacuum and mop my kitchen, but only vacuum and not mop my dining room.
Thanks!

I have the S8 and you can definitely choose between vacuum only, vacuum and mop, and also mop only.

Thank you!
Also, any input about using it to mop hardwood floor with water? I wouldnt use it with a floor cleaner because I also have lots of tile that cleans well with water...I see people online saying they let it clean hardwood floor with water because it uses very little. What do you think?

Also, is it relatively user friendly to set up the mapping?
