This will be my first yk since being diagnosed. I am not on insulin. Doctor says it's safe for me to fast. Anyone here a type 2 diabetic with experience? What can I do to make sure I do well? Thanks.

Fasting is actually really good for people with insulin resistance. Make sure you get plenty of fluids and electrolytes before and after.

I have type 2 diabetes and usually fast fine Ka’h. The only time I don’t fast 9 av or Yom Kippur is when I’m pregnant.
