I work full time and am out of the house from 8-4. From 4-8 pm it's the evening rush of hw, dinner, baths, bedtime, cleaning up, lunches, laundry, etc. By 10 pm im so wiped I sometimes have to do more work or only can manage to shower and collapse.

For mothers working full time, when do you find the time to food shop and cook for Shabbos, let along yontif? What hacks can you share? I feel like I'm just trying to keep up one day at a time. I shop during a lunch break or order online/instacart. I cook for Shabbos when I get home on Friday. Sundays if I shop I find I don't also have time to do much cooking unless at night.

Would love to hear your experiences and suggestions.

When I worked full time and my kids were younger I would email my order to the local grocery store same order every week pretty much and they would deliver it. I was very specific in what I wanted and the orders were almost always what I needed.

I know some people shop on Sundays, or maybe you can go super early during the week one morning most of the larger stores open pretty early.

I would prepare dinners on Sunday afternoons so I didn't have to cook so much during the week.

Also freeze the freezer is your best friend
There’s so many things that are delicious from freezer
And you spend 2 weeks doing a little everyday
And erev yomtov you just do the basics that need to be fresh
It’s a game changer.

What’s the best way to freeze things? How long can it go for?
