Even his favorite foods. He finds excuses. What is so popular in your kitchen that no one ever refuses? (No sweets please—I mean real food)
My 7 year old needs to be wooed to eat. Refuses breakfast lunch and dinner every night. Is it better to discuss this with a nutritionist without him there? When I brought up at pediatricians office it became much much worse. Need solutions!! Child takes plain bread for lunch. Cookies for breakfast. Burritos for dinner. Even refuses his favorite pizza. Hummus and bread on shabbos.
We tried to uncover reason and he says he doesn’t like the feeling of cleaning self after using toilet. I’m not paying for therapy. (Pls don’t try to convince me unless you want to pay for it). Need solutions I can manage from the kitchen.

1. iron supplement
2. general multi vitamin
3. take the stress off. Only serve the foods they eat. If they refuse, let them stay hungry. See how it goes. It works for some kids not for others.
4. Best piece of advice I got. Get them to do the cooking. Simple pasta, rice, rolls etc spreads. When they cook, they are more likely to eat
5. eat in front of them with relish. Show them how you enjoy the food.
