Do you hang things to dry?

Evrything goes into the dryer except my husbands shabbat shirts.
I hate hanging things
We ought a,dryer before we got married. Never thought of not having one or not using one.

My father used to say he dreaded the day when he would walk into the bathroom and find it hung all over with feminine undergarments. My mother taught us all to hang then in our rooms to dry.

My mother used to iron everything. My sister hangs everything to dry outside, and doesn't iron anything. We live in different countries, so my parents only visited two or three times a year, but when they did, my mother used to spend her spare time ironing the children's clothes, including baby items. She always said that my sister and her husband could look a mess if they wanted to, but her grandchildren were going to have properly ironed clothes as long as she could manage it!

I hang basically everything, but I'm in Israel so the sun is faster than the dryer.

I dry boys weekday clothes except if something is stained or a special more expensive t- shirt (1 per season max) as well as dh's work clothes
I hang button down shirts, most shabbos clothes, skirts, dresses( except sweat shirt or velour fabric) & most of my own clothes. & bras of course.

I hang Shabbos clothes, 90% of my clothes and any "Jewish" clothes. Socks, underwear, pajamas, undershirts, my husband's white shirts, and regular (ie; Chidlrens place, cat and jack, old navy) shorts and clothing in general I dry.

I dry underwear, socks/tights, linen, towels, velour pjs, velour robes, kids swim wear and bathrobes, rags, and cord skirts/jumpers and everything else gets hung, like pants, sweat tops, tshirts, shirts and girls and my tops, skirts, and uniforms.

Occasionally if something isn't dry in morn, from hanging, that kids need to wear then, like pants, uniforms then I'll dry few minutes

I live in a hot country and dry almost everything. Towels and things like that, I stick k in the dryer for ten minutes once they are dry so they should be soft.
It's one of my pet peeves of Jewish clothing, why can't pajamas, tshirts etc go in the dryer

I have no dryer and air dry everything. We found creative ways to install drying space in our apt. Occasionally dh will go to the Laundromat in the basement and dry stuff if he needs it fast. In my childhood we had a clothesline outdoors and I still miss it. Nothing smells as fresh as laundry dried by the sun and the wind.

Thanks. How do I clean it? I’ve don’t hot hot wash with vinegar thinking it will clean it, still smells.

Hanging absolutely everything whenever possible. We have a dryer but use it only in winter during rainy spells. We're in Israel, so the summer is rain-free and hot. A lot of times during winter one can also hang outside, but it takes longer to dry.
Only rain will force us to use the dryer.

On those occasions when we use the dryer, I find that it makes clothes, towels and everything else thinner. Things lose substance and get threadbare. And their fibers can be abundantly found in the fluff sieve, recognizable by the color of the wash load.

I had a seamstress put elastic in the neckline of my tee shirts, so now I hang all my tee shirts up to dry.

I didn't answer the poll because none of the answers are right for me. I dry underwear, undershirts, socks, pajamas, weekday pants, linens, and towels. I hang shirts (Shabbos and weekday), Shabbos pants skirts, dresses, bras, and shells. Hanging instead of drying keeps the clothing looking much fresher. With regular pants, I don't see much of a difference though.

I air dry most of my clothes but throw the kids stuff in the dryer. My husband damp dries his shirts and then hangs to prevent wrinkles.
