How many bottles of Vanish / Shout?
|
Absolutely none- we do only black and dark denim around here ( and we have special red shirts for meatball night) |

I wash all light loads on soak cycle with oxi powder & powder detergent. I also pre spray any really bad stains. After that any remaining stains are usually really light & I'm ok using like that.

Grandma's Secret Spot Remover? It did something really weird to a stain. Made it look worse, almost like when there's a bleach drip that removes the color from the fabric. When the shirt dried after being washed, it did look better than when the stain had been full force, but it didn't remove the stain in full, and it really did something weird to the fabric. Buyer beware. Afraid to use it again.

I thought it was just my kids that had stains on EVERYTHING. The hand me downs I can't bother to catch the stains before I throw it in. The stuff I actually paid for I pre treat the first few washes then I give up. I stopped buying my son white button downs for shabbos. He wears colors that blend very well with stains.
