Since I just sprayed the last few droplets out of yet another bottle of shout, I decided to find out what the norm is around here.
And, while I'm at it, at what point of the summer season is it socially on to send a toddler to daycare with a stained white t-shirt? My other options are sending her in winter clothes or clothesless What
So, how many bottles of laundry spray have you used since July?

It is so frustrating. Because many times the oxi spray that I use doesn't even help!
Then I try to soak with powder and that sometimes doesn't help either.

Wow I was literally having similar thoughts this morning wondering if everyone else also goes through a bottle a week!

I just wash everything without pretreating. I dont find it makes a significant difference in the stains. Instead, if something gets really stained I send it to the cleaners and for a few dollars it comes back sparkling.

Oh my gosh thought it was just us. And we don't have too many white tshirts. But even the navy shirt with the white trim. The floral top with white background. The white shell. And really just all the clothes. It's never ending. And I am constantly spraying and soaking with oxy. It's getting out of hand and I am SO looking forward to dark winter clothes.

I throw oxiclean in every load and if it’s so strained so be it

Ha! This is exactly me.
I make sure not to spend a lot on summer tee shirts because they always get trashed.
At the end of the season, I’ll try to bleach whatever I can, but if it’s still stained after that, then good bye.

I only spray my kids whites but it doesn't usually help. I found that soaking overnight in water/detergent works great so I've been doing that. Always throw in oxi for good measure. Sometimes it comes out sometimes it doesn't.

Some stains (especially meatball sauce) come out like magic when dried under direct sunlight.
Magic.
Try it.
Also works well with baby onesies that gets poop stains.
That being said, a bottle a week sounds about right.

A bottle a week about. At the end of the summer half or more of the clothes are trash. Less to take home from the country.

I have 2 kids probably use 1 bottle per month. Their clothing usually don’t stain I usually don’t spray unless it’s a tough stain but I think it’s because I don’t buy Jewish brands I feel like those stain really easily.

Yup probably a bottle per week (I use Zout and Miss Mouth's Messy Eater, with some Oxi soaking thrown in sometimes as well).

Bubbles did me in this summer. My three year olds daycamp did bubbles very often and ruined all his clothes! Got two non stained ugly clothes (all that was left!) to start the school year till it gets cold…

I wrote a pallet but I didn't realize it was just for the summer... uniform shirts are the worst for me. Pencil stains. Paint. Marker. Somehow they are more black, gray and blue than white by a month in.
I spray, hang to dry so it doesn't set.... nothing helps!!

I use a combination of Dawn power wash spray and Oxi spray that works for almost everything- and when in doubt, soak after spraying in hot water and oxi clean white revive. Buy those three products in bulk refills lol

Just want to share how I saved my daughter’s summer dress from a dry erase board marker attack by using some grandmothers secret thing from Amazon. I washed it 3-4 times!! I didn’t give up 😅 and it worked Baruch Hashem
