Any suggestion/s for a strong-smelling b'samim so that one who doesn't have a good sense of smell doesn't end up saying a bracha l'vatala?

We've found very smell-heavy things at the Chinese, try it!

Not sure what has the strongest smell, but if you keep your besamim in the fridge, they will have a smell much longer than if you keep them at room temperature.

Thanks to the nice ladies who responded to my asking about strong-smelling b'samim. Those are interesting suggestions.

Buy a fresh bottle of whole cloves or star anise and store in a small glass spice container. Keep it well sealed and it stays for years.

I bought star anise from an Asian spice store and mix it with whole cloves that I keep in the freezer.
