I moved into a house with this type of Samsung oven.
To my dismay, all the oven timer does is make a noise when the set time is up, and oven continues to bake (so if youre away you get back to a burned meal)?

Timer is just a timer. You need a button that says cook time. That will shut off the cooking.

Thanks so much! I temporarily failed to notice that the LED screen has 2 time options and I left the oven on timer, by mistake, expecting it to turn off at the set time, not realizing I was supposed to set the cook time.
What a mess! I dont think Ill ever make that mistake again.
