Cold always, hang to dry. They stay sparkling white!

Non iron shirts are supposed to be dried on low for at least 10 mins to set off the non iron element in the shirts.

Wash on cold, in dryer on low, and then take out and hang right away.

I wash them in hot water, pre-soak, put them in the dryer on normal and then take to cleaners to press
I find that soaking in hot water with a good detergent really preserves the whiteness

I wash them in hot water- if it has stain like from grape juice, or any grease, we put in blue dawn soap and shmear it on the stain.. then wash it and then put it in the dryer for about 7 minutes and then take it out and shake out the wrinkles and hang dry until the next morning.. looks brand new..

My husbands method is cold water only and dry for 5 min which is the damp setting. Then straight to a hanger. They look great. Hes convinced hot water bakes in the stains.

I like to wash cold and hang up right away.
DH likes to wash his shirts on warm and stick in the dryer regular cycle. (When he washes his shirts)

I always understood that heat will bake in stains and cold doesn't remove stains. I wash warm and hang dry. Shirts stay white.

I pretreat and wash on hot and dry on low (non-iron) but if there's a stain I check first to see if it came out before putting it in the dryer because drying sets the stain. If not, then I'll hang dry/treat and wash again

I run a heavy duty load on cold with detergent and biz, paused overnight and then again on hot with just detergent and sometimes a bluing agent. Dry on low.
