Smoke/ carbon monoxide detector

Recently had some heartbeat skipping moment, rude dawn awakening with B’H b’H false alarms.

Thought it may be the battery, but it happened again with a new battery (and battery is less than a year old & detector is fairly new- maybe 2 years)

So I’m browsing amazon for a replacement and please- someone help me! I’m getting overwhelmed with the options. What am I looking for? Decibel level? Better photoelectric detection? Better with battery replacement or no replacement needed or a plug in?

Any specific brand or are off brands ok?

I like the Kiddo brand alarms.
We have a CO from them that says what the PPB are. Which is very helpful because when we had an alarm we could find out if it was going up or down.

I can't stop checking my alarm at home in the middle of the night and before I go to bed and random times during the night from the time that the co2 turned on and there was co2 in the house.
