Does he listen to you? Does he look at everything, or only specific numbers? I’m not happy with our current one because she’s not at all concerned that my child isn’t growing taller, only what the tsh number is.

Oh also is it in person or telehealth, or is there an option for either one?

My child has Type 1 diabetes so that's what we use him for.. but I can say he is very thorough with us and gives us all the latest research and also believe that we know our kid best and kind of let's us take the lead if we want to try a new route for something. He is very warm and great with kids. We see him in person and see his nurse sometimes via teleheath if we can't make it in(we go every other month).. not sure how it works for thyroid issues though.
I'll also add that the office is very easy to work with.

We’ve been using Accacha for a while now. One kid with precocious puberty, one with growth hormone deficiency. I’m very, very happy with her. I found her evidence-based but then able to listen carefully to my motherly intuition plus experience with many more children than a typical parent in her practice and address my concerns thoughtfully and with skill.
But I am finding the office more and more annoying to deal with in between appointments. The front desk staff are so lovely when we come in. But for questions about labs, medication, blood work, it’s a lot of effort on my end following up until I get a full answer due to the doctor being guarded/gate keeping by aids and nurses that give wrong answers on the NYU app or taking 24-48+ hours to properly relay my phone call message when I give up on the app.
