On the topic of AI- as someone in the creative field, I’ve been staunchly anti AI and never used it. It saddened me to see generated images begin to rival my creative friends’ works. But lately I’ve noticed artists take the initiative with AI and muse it to their creative advantage with manipulation. I’m still not sure about it, but maybe it can be good to creative a collage in twenty minutes instead of four hours on photoshop.

But if 90% of content is trash, will we continue to look out for the 10% of human content or we’ll stop reading?

I’m thinking about this in regards to the blog I’m working on. When someone comes to my website, will they be interested in reading what I have to say on the subject I’m discussing or they’ll assume it’s filled with AI nonsense?

It’s funny, I was actually excited about the technology at first and was an early adapter. But the more I recognize AI work out in the wild the more I begin to dread it. For example, whenever I see a photo now I automatically look for the deformed fingers and creepy teeth. With AI video generators likely available to the public soon, will every documentary be filled with b-roll of fake places, birds wings meshing into another, one person in the crowd sporting three legs? Will AI ever become good enough to not have any of these issues? If yes, that is an issue of itself because it completely negates the need for human work.
