I think half the story was left in your brain. Try to write in full sentences. It will be helpful to understand what the epiphany is.

"I jumped" is the end of the sentence in the title. The only thing unclear to me is what "I'm so!" means, but probably something like NechaMom wrote

About 10ish years ago on this site, a few very young members (maybe 18/19) started to use "x" to mean "don't". As in "I x want to go to my MIL's house for pesach". I clearly remember one thread where it was all through the OP and her subsequent comments on her thread and it made so many of us so confused.

Turns out, it was a new way the younger gen was using text-speak to write on here. It was a time where a lot of the younger members used a lot of text-speak and it was out of hand, because on a message board, while we do have our own abbreviations (like MIL for mother in-law), using text short hand is seen as bad manners.

I think this OP using "!" in this context is like using "x". I think here, it means "I was so [insert feeling here]".

Bottom line - save text shortcuts for T9 texting.

She filled in the missing word.
Check out the op.
Let's cut her some slack. She's a tired mommy. Op, we all get you.
Yes, it's okay to someone's say that you can't watch him spin now. Extra points if you end up watching the video.

Once (I.e., a million times a week) my dd wants me to watch her dance/sing/act/gymnastics/etc across the floor. Once I asked her 'why can't you just do it without me watching, it's the same fun' and she said 'it isn't fun if you aren't watching' Banging head LOL

Hmm this thread got me thinking. If our kids can video themselves for us to watch later, maybe we can do the same.

Let's video ourselves getting them up, dressed, breakfasted and off to school! Just think, parenting while we sleep lol!

And they can record messages for us like 'you didn't sign my homework' and 'I couldn't find a pair of matching socks!'

And we'll endeavour to get back to them within 48 hours.

I’ll say “tzaddik’l get dressed” once, and put it on repeat. The studio has been saved to my contacts. If I do it, I do it in style.

ETA: A bit like covid teaching. It was the easiest part of my teaching career lol! Give them instructions and leave them to it.*

*I say this from my perspective as a teacher. As a parent, nope!

You're the Genius around here, surprised you didn't think of it!

P.S. Always wonder, are you a Genius in real life?

Did not occur to me.

I’m a millimeter away from geniusity, so not quite there yet.

Only a millimeter away? I'd say that's pretty good going.
