B'h have a Work at Home mothers forum. Yael asked me if this should be a private forum. I don't see why it should be, and I think we should keep it open. Anyone have any objections?

Don't mind either way. I can't see anyone posting anything too earthshattering on it!

[quote]Why not leave it open?
People thinking to work at home can see what really happens.
We all think the grass is greener on the other side!
(except now when I just don't want to get dressed and I'm very happy I can work in my robe with my baby swinging next to me) (Except I think I'm forgetting that if I was in a real office - I would not be working on friday and not be working with such a young baby!)
There are pros and cons to all.

yay mimivan.
I don't see any reason why it should not be open. I don't think there are too many secrets in the WAHM worls, except that its not as easy as it appears!

does it count if I work part time from home...like when my kids are yelling for a diaper change and I am taking a payment over the phone! Or working on the computer while they are eating lunch!

Not working from home now(in the office), but was in the past, and will probably be sometime in the future.
In the past year, I worked at home(every once in a while) to cover for dh when he had appointments, so I have some inkling of what you go through.
I would like to see the forum open, but I get that my vote doesn't really count.

I finally join you, ladies!
I'm selling books from home. It's only a few hours a day at most, now, but I have already had 3 orders in a few days B'H and if things go well I may try to associate with nearby libraries or something.

I do work at home, whenever I get a client. At one time I was working five hours a day at home, with babies. At this point, I work more out of the house, part time . But I'd like to be part of this forum!
