Yes! I had one company come in through the program and not only did it make my attic cooler (it was boiling before) it lowered my bill also
I totally never though about insulation before but ya it really does work

*they're coming to do my basement now as well

I don't know if it lowered my bill though that's what they promised it would do, but it's toxic and every summer when it gets hot it starts off - gassing again and makes my house smell like wet paint. I wish I can undo it.

We did cellulose and it made a huge difference in comfort. Slightly lowered bill

What's cellulose? Is that something different than spray foam?

YEA! We did it through JSynergy Green and got most of covered by state grants and the rest got rolled into our monthly O&R bill so we pay a tiny bit each month towards paying it off and even with that our bill is much lower. Our house is 60 years old so it made a huge difference, possibly a newer house is built better to begin with and won't have such a great impact.

cellulose is blown in, foam is for when the walls are open. Someone I know does the cellulose blow-in type and ppl feel big difference in how hot or cold the house is

Just google JSynergy Green, that's who we used and were very happy.
