If you wash dishes on shabbos, what sponge do you use?
Is the scrub daddy acceptable?

Thanks

Scrub daddy definitely absorbs water. You can squeeze it out when you're done washing. I use this type

Do these last for you? I bought them once but found them impossible to keep clean. That's why I switched to the bottle brush type

In a pinch you can bunch up a disposable plastic bags and wet it with soap and use as a sponge.

I just put on disposable gloves and use my gloves hands to wash everything. I find it works really well.

Scrub daddy is not OK for shabbos, it is a sponge, we have them for weekday. We use shabbos scrubbers, different brands last different amounts of time. They can be cleaned in the dishwasher. But still need frequent replacement

There's no need to run out and BUY when there's no need.

Did you ever ask about these?
If the bristles are close together like a toothbrush, it can be considered like squeezing.
