Just make sure you aren't paying for them.
Many places charge you yearly or monthly until you return them.
If you paid for them fully out of pocket you don't need to keep them unless You want one as a backup

No. The old ones might not be compatible with newer computers and devices, and are more likely to have security vulnerabilities.

If you bought them yourself, chuck them.

If they were given to you as part of your wifi service, call and ask what to do with them. They may charge you if you don't return them.

Seriously no need to keep them.
