not really, a bad sheital can make a beautiful 20 year old into an old, tired bedraggled woman. Sheitals are great for older woman, not for young ones necessarily.

actually, I've seen older women in youngish sheitels. they look really ridiculous. many women look better with lighter sheitels as they age. I also think that band falls are only to be used until a certain age. older women who wear young band falls often look like a black and white photo in a tie dyed frame. it just doesn't look good.

I think I look decent. Not pimply or messy. And I do take care of myself. But pretty?? Well that's up to the people who look at me. Flower

On really young women, shaitels make them look more mature.

On older women, it can really make them look younger.

If you could get a new shaitel and try a different cut than you have now it might help. Once I got a new shaitel and styled it differently it actually gave me a different look that I'm happier with. Also, try buying yourself clothes that make you feel good.

Honestly, I think it's the attitude more than anything else. If you think you are beautiful you will radiate that to others.

How many beautiful people you know who just look ugly because their personality is wretched?

Hipsta, you're so right. I've noticed pple who if you looked at their actual features are nothing special, but when they smile or laugh and you see their middos, they look great. And conversely, there are some conventional "beauties" out there who are so vain and arrogant that it shows on their faces and they look rather hideous!

Pretty is the way you carry yourself. It's an attitude. I have seen people who have exceptionally beautiful features, who do not give a striking impression because they don't carry themselves with confidence.

And to answer your question, yes, I think I'm pretty.

without makeup IMHO I look very blah. (when I see myself in the mirror in the morning -it can be pretty scary!)a when I wear makeup and a nice shaitel I think I look rather pretty and attractive. but the difference of how I look when im made up and put together and when im not is quite a difference!
