so I was out today and went window shopping ... everything seemed to be so old fashioned I either wore something similar once upon a time - or hated it back then ... omg what are they thinking lucky I already have old clothes ...

Yeah, that's a good one.
I don't know what's better- that, or 8 year olds wearing maternity.

Lol my mother was plotzing when my 17 year old sister brought home an ugly librarian looking blouse- y'know, cream polyester, baloon-like with a tight waist, and a collar that tied- and then asked my mother if she had any of those old fat belts that she saw in my mother's old pics.
I do like pencil skirts better than those biz kind, though! And more fitted blazers are coming in which is nice. I don't like the big smock jacket look. Makes me feel like an elephant...

oh, yeah. gotta love the punk hairdos and fishnet stockings.
and what's with the high tops? windbreakers? cut off tees?
I'm glad I don't see too many perms walking around, but hair is getting big again...

I was in a store and a mother was buying boots for her dd, aged about 9. "oh look at the gorgeous bow on these ones!" she exclaimed. the bow was exactly like ppl used to have at the tops of blouses back in the 80s. (think princess Di)
Yuk. And the shoes. the only ones I like the look of have way too high heels. All the old lady styles seem to be in now.
I guess todays teens are too young to remember these fashions. we are not.

That's the beauty of fashion. It keeps being reinvented with modern twists.
Happy shopping.
