I was going to post a similar topic, only mine went like this:

What do you do when all the new shoes remind you of what was popular when you were in 9th grade (a very awkward time for me, I might add, though I had the shoes) and is compounded by the fact that they look like Grandma shoes, or the shoes that Mary Poppins pulled out of her carpet bag during "Just a Spoonful of Sugar" which was portraying a time period c. 1910?

I love the shooties... don't know if I would ever actually wear them, but I always loved them as a kid! Maybe I'd wear a half shoe half-shootie..........

I was also thinking of starting a thread on Boots.

It enables me to say what I don't say in person:

Hey you, yeah you, the woman wearing boots in 70 (F) degree weather. It looks really silly!

Well it's in the 40's here... and I think of all 3 I'll pick boots. Although the other two are fun, I can't see myself wearing them practically on a day-to-day basis.

I also like boots with heels but they're not pracitcal for me for everyday wear because I'm always running around with my kids. I like uggs for a regular day.

Everybody here wears boots. Not in the middle of the summer, but no matter the weather, in the fall or spring, I see a lot of women wearing boots. I'm specifically talking about frum women.
