My 4-year old son has been toilet trained for over a year. He has not had any accidents in all that time.
Yesterday, he had an accident in school. I figured it was a one-off. But today, they called me from school again saying that he'd had another accident
Then he came home from school, and he had an accident AGAIN.
Now I'm starting to get concerned. Three accidents in two days.
What could be causing this?

Strep or pinworms. We're at full moon so parasites are definitely active...

Check for strep and pinworms. Also make sure he’s not constipated. A lot of boys don’t sit long enough on the toilet to empty fully and the bladder has no room to store urine so they have accidents.

Hmm. I need to check for pinworms only at night, right?

When my 4 yo ds started having accidents I tested him for strep and it was positive. No other symptoms.

Go to doctor , test for strep and do a urine sample. Could even be a UTI

This could be a sign of diabetes?

Yes but he would most probably have other signs as well like extreme thirst, lethargic..But good to get it checked to rule it out
