I’ve always been curious about the following. We currently use OU, CRC, and Rabbi Blumenkrantz as our halachic guidelines in terms of things being kosher for pesach. The problem is that they often differ on their opinions on what’s ok and what isn’t. I’m wondering if it’s ok to pick and choose who to follow based on it being the most convenient option. For ex. The CRC is much stricter when it comes to toothpaste, whereas Rabbi Blumenkrantz is more lenient and the brands we use are ok according to him. But when it comes to water bottles from Great Value brand, for example, Rabbi Blumenkrantz holds it must have a hechsher and be Kosher for Passover whereas the CRC says those particular bottles are fine. Is there a problem picking who to follow based on convenience or I need to choose one and stick to it?

Disclaimer: I never asked a Rabbi about it.
I'm ok following one of them even if the other disagrees.

The question is if you accept every kula and chumra
They are based on different opinion sometimes different issues

Right but if in general I would eat OU or anything that’s ok by the CRC and wouldn’t eat other hechsheirim then I’m not accepting every kula and chumra. I go based on what either one says. It’s just when it comes to pesach it’s easier to just go with the more lenient ones but is that ok?
