yeah, it was the worst nightmare for us. I realise that if I clean evey time something spills, I hardly have to scrub. But Friday, things are too crazy, and it only gets clean from Friday cooking motsei shabos. It is quite gross, especially since I clean Thursday, it's annoying, but the blech covers it, and its beeter than making both myself and husband crazy, who had about 1 hour to help anyways.
So we only scrub once a week which isn't too hard(that's because it's not me who does it, but my hubbi;) ), and just wipe whenever needed otherwise. It takes 2 seconds.

since I wash the stove almost every day... I almost never have to scrub.. It's quite easy when the food is stil fresh to take a bottle of allperpose cleaner and a paper towel.

I use a microfiber cloth and water. It's does a great job and I don't have to use any chemicals.

I use it everywhere. I even called the company erev Pesach to tell them how much I love their product. I also told them that I used for all my Passover cleaning, from the kitchen to the car.

I use the Mr. Clean Eraser a lot.. works great on stovetop, Fridge (door)...

Cute Tzivi!

I clean my stove top at leats once a week, usually b4 Shabbos.

Sometimes my husband will do it (unless he's busy scrubbing our George Foreman)!

I use either Brawn or Fantastic - both all purpose cleaner/ cuts through tough grease.

Hmm, gotta try that microfiber- what's the name of it?

The worst part is when you try to pitch in a manicure earlier on in the day bc you have time, and then you get home and realise you gotta clean the stove Scratching Head

I clean it once a week when I clean my whole house thursday night for shabbos... otherwise whenever its dirty I wipe it down.

Different companies sell it. I think I use Mr. clean.

I use ajax, it's great, let it soak for a while, but only about once/twice a week, the rest of the time I just use clorox wipes, it's great, just a quick wipe down an dit always stays clean. I can;'t believe it took me this long to figure it out. embarrassed

Notice: Continued use of ajax or other abrasive powder containing silica will first scratch and dull, and eventually completely wear away the porcelain finish of your stove, sink, toilet, etc. The minute scratches catch dirt and make it progressively harder to clean.

Rather than silica-based scouring powders, try either Bon Ami, which is much softer, or baking soda, which is softer still and cheaper. It is mildly abrasive so it removes dirt, but does not scratch appliance surfaces. Yes, you do need to use a bit more elbow grease than if you were using Ajax, but you will preserve the look and life of your stove and save yourself much more elbow grease in the future.

really, I only use it for the stove, is it the ajax or the steal wool that scratches? Now I don't care I'm only in an apt. but for the future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
