I’m looking for tickets to go to Israel for Pesach but the tickets are sooo expensive (even with using points).
Does anyone know of a whisperer/magician/miracle worker/undercover agent who knows how to procure well priced tickets?
Or in general tips to find tickets for a good price?

I know I’m super late in the game and I am being flexible with dates and layovers (though I’d prefer not to have a layover since I’d be traveling with kids. Not a deal breaker though).
I’m wondering if there are any out of the box methods.

Long layovers, or multiple layovers
We found flights a few weeks ago for under $700 (other direction israel to US), but we have 2 layovers on the way back, and one LONG one (full day) on the way in.

Try using other airlines points. Marriott points can convert to Alaska. They have ElAl one way for 40k points if there is availability. Amex transfers to Marriot which transfers to Alaska Etc.

it's not as fun, but flying after the seders and being in Israel for chol hamoed and the 2nd days is probably half the cost
